3- Set a name for your first images Folder.
4- The installation is done and you will be redirected to Imagex Dashboard.
ImageX was made to be implemented on every website. So you can for example, install images on your admin Back-End and set the Parent Folder Path to the front-end area. So your images url will not have the admin Path of your website.
ImageX is intuitive and very easy to use.
- You must have have at least 1 folder created in oder to upload images. You can use the folders to disting your Photos and Images as categorys.
- On the Dashboard select the Folder where you want to upload or search for Images
- If the folder was selected you can now upload, search and manage all images that are on this selected folder.
Please use the image Rotation with precaution. You should only use this if you really need to rotate a image, because everytime you rotate a image, this will be decompressed and compressed again what will automatically make some quality lost.
With ImageX is very easy to manage your images that you can upload with ftp.
All you need to do is to Upload your images to a folder inside of the ImageX Parent folder that you set on the installation, or that is set on the file imagex_config.php.
Imagex will scrap that Folders for Jpg, png and gif images automatically.
If you make a mistake on the installation or if you whant to change the name or path to the Image Parent folder, please:
1- Open the file "imagex_config.php"
2- Change the text inside ' ' on $USER_TYPED_TOP_FOLDER_PATH='YOUR PARENT FOLDER PATH';
EX.: If you want to set the Parent folder to www.yourwebsite.tld/images/imagex-images this should look like: $USER_TYPED_TOP_FOLDER_PATH='images/imagex-images';
3- Save the file and replace it on your server.
